Living with Pressure - A two day workshop - Objectives:
To define the link between pressure and stress 
To identify personal responses to pressure
To develop individual methods of managing pressure
To know how to recognise the effects of pressure/stress in self and others
To develop strategies for effectively managing pressure
Method:
The programme will be run 'workshop' style and a high level of participation will be encouraged. There will be some tutor input, group discussion and exercise. Participants are invited to relate the material to their personal experience.
This workshop will benefit managers who recognise that they and/or their subordinates are under pressure and are keen to develop strategies for managing pressure effectively. It is also helpful for any employee for self management of stress. This programme can be adapted for working with discrete teams to establish a group response to pressure and stress.
