Human Relationships for Managers - A one day workshop - Objectives:

To introduce a framework for understandinglookfwd2_s human behaviour and feelings.

To improve personal effectiveness through understanding self and others.

To develop a tool for recognition and removal of blocks to problem solving.

Method:

The material is taught 'workshop' style, with theory inputs from the tutor, group discussion and exercises in small groups. Participants will be encouraged to share their learning experiences with each other.

The programme covers one day and develops human resource management concepts introduced in a previous workshop relating to the work/life boundary. Authentic workplace examples will be used for role play.

Handouts are provided.

While the tutor will cover all the material listed in the programme, the needs of the group of delegates will be respected. The programme will therefore be flexible. Questioning and testing out will be encouraged. Delegates will be prompted to use their own life experience in the learning process and will be invited to evaluate the relevance of the material in their work.
